At fourteen, co-founder Melanie Wolf had already arrived at her statuesque 5′11″, and with it came a quiet, persistent understanding that most fashion was not designed with her in mind.
In ready-to-wear, maxi lengths are cut for the classic 5′7″–5′8″ frame, a proportion that serves most women beautifully. A petite woman lifts her heel, shortens her hem, and moves on.
For the taller woman, the story is different.
